SALUTATIONS FELLOW BLOGGERS!
Finally, it is summer again! I say "finally", in the beginning of July because I have been taking a summer class which only recently ended for me, ergo, summer has only just begun for me :)
I am so excited! I have so many plans - and let's be real, most of them include books, Netflix, and sleeping. I have started to seriously make a dent in my reading list, and my bookshelves and at the moment I am reading The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. I have always wanted to read the whole series in one summer, having watched the movie series about 14x (and I'm not exaggerating) and having started reading the series multiple times but never fully reading it through. I am surprised at how some parts are so different, and I am wondering throughout the whole reading process if I would have imagined the characters differently had I read the books first and if I would have been disappointed or happy with the actors that were chosen for the role.
Here is a picture of my bookshelf. It spans almost the whole length of my wall and I'm slowly building up my collection so that it will be completely filled with books. The boxes that are on the shelves contain nail stuff in some and lotions/creams in others. If you want an in-depth blog post on what books I have or just in general what I have on there, let me know in the comments below! I'd be glad to do so! :)
On another point, I am watching Once Upon A Time on Netflix and am thoroughly enthralled by it! It's so interesting! I watch it in the mornings while I am doing my makeup to start the day and usually I watch it while folding laundry or doing other chores or tasks that allow me to multitask.
Other than reading my books, or watching Netflix, or working, I find myself spending quite a lot of time with my church choir that I am co-director for. I find it quite satisfying working with these people since most of them who are there they want to be there and are excited to learn new songs and are attentive and willing to work. Of course, there always are those couple people who make me grow grey hairs way faster than I'm supposed to, but I think God had them put in this choir so that I would learn how to wisely diffuse situations and deal with problems, and how to hold my temper. Looks like this is perfect practice for when we have kids (God willing!).
Thanks for listening to me ranting and just talking about my day(s). If you have any requests for anything just let me know! I'm going to have a blog post up soon about the new skincare product(s) that I have been using that are just amazing and are my new favorites :)
Goodnight, and talk to you all later!
