First Week of Classes

SALUTATIONS FELLOW HUMANS!

Sorry for the geekiness ;) actually you know what? I'm not sorry! Because that is who I am and I will not make myself be someone I'm not just because I think people will think me slightly weird!
*End Rant*

Anyhooooooo,
How are y'all?? It's been a crazy week lately, what with house hunting and wedding planning and contract signing and trying to keep up with all my classes... CRAAAAAyzeeeee

I was just wondering, how do you all time manage? I have always been horrible at it and it's really starting to bite me in the butt now because I have a LOT on my plate, and I have no idea how to compartmentalize it! HEELLPPPP

Overall, Uni is going pretty well, I love my classes and all my professors are pretty awesome! My Math Professor is Indian so it is a little hard to understand him and it makes it a little worse that there are around 450 people in the class but hopefully it won't be too hard of a class and I'll be able to ace it! I love my Anatomy and Physiology class because my teacher is this little old guy who has so much spunk and life that he makes the class really interesting!! My nursing class is the BOMB and the Professor is so laid back that I know I'm not gonna be swamped from it, and lastly my Psychology class is downright fascinating because my Professor has an ALPACA FARM! (I don't know if I spelled it correctly...) and she's really good at controlling the class and that class is again around 450 people. She really knows her stuff which really helps in everyone respecting her.

I hope you all have a good semester and do really well in your classes and not pull out your hair at the same time but have fun and don't forget that we're still young and are learning everything little by little! Give yourselves a break!

Love you all! Sincerely,

First Day back at Uni

Wowzah...

Today was the first day back at Uni and boy did I have a real wake up call... I've been excited to get back into the swing of Uni but when I sat down to my 8:30am Anatomy and Physiology Lecture, apparently I was already behind!! On the first day!! I forgot how fast-paced and competitive college is!

It's crazy the transition that one has to go through between college and high school... I am now in my third semester of Uni. I graduated High School with an International Baccalaureate  Diploma in addition to the other ones I received so it wasn't like I wasn't prepared for Uni exactly... It's just a shock to go from going to an academically diverse school to one where you are literally sitting in a room that is filled with valedictorians, and over-achievers just like you and suddenly, to get an A is not as easy as it used to be...

I still remember the first semester and what I remember vividly about it was that it was a real slap in the face. Even though I was in the IB Program back in high school, I didn't do THAT much studying for tests in classes and I still did well... Mind you I studied until I thought I was about to plop dead for the IB Exams but that's different... Well, it was completely different at Uni because here, you ACTUALLY had to study, for EVERY test... *Minion voice* "Whaaaaaaaatt?"

It's crazy just trying to get back into the swing of things... I got engaged this summer (Heck yeah! SUPER PUMPED!) and so we're planning on having the wedding in late November and I'm really starting to worry whether or not I can pull off planning a wedding and going to Uni and having a job?!

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep myself organized?? It would help immensely! And to all those who are starting out at Uni today or tomorrow or whenever, May the Force be with you! And remember that if you ever feel lost, call out to God and He's there and always will be to help you through whatever sticky situation you might find yourself in!

Enjoy my lovelies!
