The Little Things in Life

The Little Things in Life

 Salutations Fellow Bloggers!
They say that one of the ways to enjoy the life one is given, one must find beauty in little things. The other day, I was browsing the internet for ideas for a paper I have to write for IB Philosophy. This paper has to answer the question of what it is to be human (partly of course because we know the answer for such a question is not an easy one to word). All of a sudden I thought of the Aurora Borealis - or the Northern Lights as they're more commonly known. When I typed that in the Google Search Bar, my breath literally caught in my throat. It has always been my dream to go and see firsthand this beautiful phenomenon in Alaska and seeing them in pictures I have a feeling doesn't do them justice, but just the beauty that I saw was overwhelming. I looked at these pictures and just sat there, stunned by the beauty of such a phenomenon. It amazed me that we have such beauty on this earth and that such a sight is not corrupted and it actually (and I know this might sound corny but bear with me) gave me hope that this planet might still be saved. These pictures of such a simple thing gave me such hope as I never thought I could have. I don't know why I felt this way but I thought I'd share with you just this little blerp. Just remember to find beauty in the littlest things and you'll be able to live life a little fuller and a little happier as well as more appreciative. Well, have a wonderful day and God Bless You all!

From your ever appreciative and wacko little Ukrainian,
Suzana B .

Just another day in this Wacko Ukrainian Household I call Home

Salutations fellow Bloggers! It's been another fine week at this fine establishment of a home and we are finally off from school for Thanksgiving Day break! What a relief! Now I can be a bum and be totally relaxed and lazy for a day! Yesterday, I spent my night watching an amazing movie, Pride & Prejudice. In my opinion it is one of the greatest novels ever written and I'm a huge fan of Jane Austen. I'm actually even doing my Extended Essay for High School on Jane Austen and Pride & Prejudice! Well today's plans are to clean the house spotless because soon we'll be going to Tennessee for my brother's engagement party! Can't wait :) although I'm not exactly happy about the 13 hour drive... but it's ok! :) Have a wonderful Turkey Day everyone and enjoy your weekend! Stay Safe and God Bless You all!
                                                                      Sincerely,                                                                             Suzanochka B :)

November 15th, 2012: This Blogger's Beginnings

November 15th, 2012: Finished BU College Application

Dear fellow bloggers,

Salutations! This is the first blog I have ever made and it does seem quite fun and entertaining :) My name is Suzana Boyko and I'm a High School Senior who's just starting her new life journey. There are QUITE a number of pit-stops I have to make (college, job, family etc...) and I can't wait for each one :) The first one coming up is COLLEGE! or UNI as the Brits say :) I just finished my application to a University that I've been wanting to go to for a while now: Binghamton University. I can't wait to get my letter any day now! I applied Early Action because I thought it'd just be better for everyone in the household that quicker I knew ;)
I really am QUITE excited for the college life... it's always seemed pretty fun but I honestly (being the awesome nerd that I am) can not WAIT for the classes that I want to take. I'm thinking about going into a BioChemistry Major and can't wait to take all those science classes and Labs :D (though I KNOW I'm going to be DREADING those Lab Write-Ups...). I also want to take a couple Writing, History, Literature and possibly even language courses. Russian Language and Russian Literature is definitely on the top of my list.
So hey and thanks for listening to this crazy little Ukrainian spill about her dreams and worries and just wackiness. Until we meet again! And God Bless You all! :)
